It has been 14 years this December since my husband Joe and
I retired to Las Vegas. It was quite an adventure in the making
and we have never regretted a minute of it---West of the Mississippi.
After more than 30 years in West Palm Beach, Florida,
we left behind our children (4 between us) and traded humidity
for a drier climate. We were never "Beach" people
but now can claim to be "Mountain" people.
I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. (Remember
Riverview?) and Joe was born in Kingston, New York and raised
in the surrounding area. My background is nursing and Joe's
in computer programming.
We love the West and enjoy traveling to such beautiful
places within a day or two from Las Vegas. Our newest family
member, Lulu, travels with us. She is our 3 year old rescue
dog.
We are looking forward to many more enjoyable trips
and adventures.
